A LITTLE ABOUT US

American Community Support Association (ACSA) is an association, authorized by the U. S. Department of State to provide various services to the American Embassy Community. ACSA also supports members at neighboring outposts that do not have direct commissary access.  ACSA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for its members and supports many Embassy community events and social activities in collaboration with the Community Liaison Offices (CLO) in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.  ACSA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by its members.

All proceeds are returned to the community through support for Embassy activities, funding employee and family events, and many other CLO activities.  ACSA also makes annual contributions to the Thai Red Cross and YWCA.

While the Emporium grocery store is ACSA’s largest outlet, we are much more than just the ” commissary.”  ACSA operates four cafes (one each on NOB, EOB, Rajdamri and JUSMAG compounds), a catering business, and a small store in Chiang Mai. On a busy day, our cafeterias will serve nearly 1,000 meals including breakfasts, lunches and snacks!
